Iconic septuagenarian man candy Robert Redford, after instructing Tom Cruise on how to properly dramatically pause behind the camera and then trading dramatic pauses with him on screen in the political thriller LIONS FOR LAMBS, will next move on to yet another political thriller, only one based on a true story. He’s in talks to once again step behind the camera to direct AGAINST ALL ENEMIES, a feature adaptation of Richard A. Clarke’s memoir of the same name. Clarke, as most of you know, is the famed counterterrorism adviser who accused the Bush administration of prioritizing Iraq and its delicious oil over threats from Al Qaeda. Jamie Vanderbilt wrote the screenplay. Redford can next be seen brooding intensely in the aforementioned LIONS FOR LAMBS.
