Yesterday I posted a story about the official site for THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS going live, despite the death of Heath Ledger. Today Quick Stop Entertainment has given us even more reason to believe that this film will go on, despite, and in honour of, Ledger. The film is about a traveling theatre troupe, who through a deal with the devil (Tom Waits) is able to take audiences to parallel worlds and explore their own imaginations. The website has been given half an image of the good doctor’s imaginarium, and report that the entire image should be on the film’s website by the weekend. Apparently traffic for www.doctorparnassus.com was so heavy that it’s being moved to a larger server. All of this is great news for fans of both Heath Ledger and director Terry Gilliam. Nothing is official, but it appears we’ll be treated to this movie after all. Click on the image if you want to see the whole of the half.
