McTeigue has revelation

James McTeigue has what it takes to become a big-time director. He cut his teeth on the MATRIX films with those brothers who made SPEED RACER, and his first film was V FOR VENDETTA, which was essentially also made by those brothers who SPEED RACER. The man has talent and skill no doubt, but when will he rise above his position as a Wachowski lackey? Perhaps his newest project, REVELATION, will be his chance. McTeigue just signed to direct the pic which is about a “a female journalist who is assigned to investigate a series of bizarre murders and discovers that the victims were all being treated by the head of an org that researches alien abductions.” Sounds like a role ripe for Ashley Judd—if this was ten years ago. Hilary Swank perhaps? McTeigue will begin filming this once he wraps on a project he’s currently shooting called NINJA ASSASSIN.
