The day wouldn’t be complete without an announcement of a comic to film adaptation but seeing as how Geek Mecca Comic Con recently wrapped, it seems appropriate. “Family Guy” executive producer David A. Goodman has been tapped to pen the script for the horror comic “Last Blood”. Created by Bobby and Chris Crosby, the story centers on a worldwide zombie infestation which forces humans to ally with vampires so that humans get protection and vampires get tasty human blood. Although why would vampires ally with humans seeing as how vampires are already undead? No word on how many obscure and mostly unfunny pop culture references Goodman plans on making. Benderspink, who’s producing the film, has several comic adaptations in development, including “The Ghouly Boys”, “Y: The Last Man” and “Power and Glory”.
