American Pie 4?

Given the success of the AMERICAN PIE direct-to-dvd spin-off franchise (there’s been BAND CAMP, THE NAKED MILE and BETA HOUSE, all seemingly focusing on Stifler’s endless stream of brothers), Universal has decided it may be time to add a fourth entry to the original theatrical franchise. According to Clint over at Moviehole, an official announcement is imminent. The question is whether they can convince any of the original cast members to come back for a fourth. Clint speculates a fourth could center on Jim (Jason Biggs) and Michelle’s (Alyson Hannigan) marriage with or without kids or perhaps they’ll just take one character – Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas), Oz (Chris Klein) or Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas) – and work a story around him or her. We don’t know at this point but it doesn’t matter, really.
