The STAR WARS universe has spawned more amateur/fan-made films than any other franchise (some of which, it could be argued, came out even better than what George Lucas presented with the prequels). Occasionally they offer something a little different.
In the short MAKAZIE ONE from filmmaker ‘Clutch’, a squad of just-before-OT Stormtroopers (the post-clone, non-Temuera kind) duke it out with a group of Mandalorian warriors while the elite Empire soldier of title tracks down another particular threat of a sort you’ll recognize.
The movie has a grainy war footage style, plenty of familiar elements, some dirty fighting and a few nice surprises (one after the credits). Check it out at the official site below!
