These three official stills from X-Men: First Class should not disappoint

I am very proud to show you these new official stills from X-MEN: FIRST CLASS.

Yesterday this early bullcrap “official cast photo” made my heart sink. Now Fox via Hero Complex has released some actual official stills from the film. Might I say, they are great. When I saw the very last one of Charles (James McAvoy) and Eric (Michael Fassbender) playing chess, I immediately fell in love. I just cannot praise these photos enough. I know it’s early to say these things, but so far so good.

On top of that, they have a report from the set. Here’s some excerpts:

Vaughn on feeling the pressure: “I’m at that stage where I feel like a boxer against the ropes. I’m just throwing punches and taking them as they come and making sure I don’t hit the canvas.”

What does he think of those other comic translations coming out? “With ‘Green Lantern,’ I don’t know about that one, I couldn’t get my head around the trailer, to be honest … look, I will say the following: X-Men as a brand is bigger than Captain America, Thor and the Green Lantern, all put together.”
