New image from X-Men: First Class demands to be hilariously captioned

Now, don’t get me wrong. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again – I have a lot of faith in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, particularly because of director Matthew Vaughn and his track record, and I think it’s going to surprise a lot of people in a good way. That’s my hope, anyway.

But good lordy has Fox been tossing us a mixed bag of promo materials for this film, giving us both great stuff along with some comically terrible shit to swallow.

The latest is a simple image released on the official FIRST CLASS Facebook page, featuring Michael Fassbender either using his powers of magnetism or trying to stifle a deuce. And then even funnier maybe is James McAvoy just poking in to say wassup. I kinda love it, but it’s a retarded picture. How about releasing something meatier for us to chew on, Fox?

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS opens June 3rd.

Synopsis: Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-MEN.
