Kristen Stewart’s Snow White is going to kill some evil motherf**kers

For some time, we’ve been following the competition between upcoming SNOW WHITE movies — director Tarsem’s Skittles-colored take on the fairy tale, and the more gritty action-adventury SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN. But how great is the disparity between them? What will really set them apart?

The violence, apparently.

Star Kristen Stewart set the tone of her version in an interview with Box Office: “Not to trivialize it at all, but it’s hard to play an action hero who is also the most compassionate person on earth. You can’t hate. You epitomize bleeding hearts, so how the f–k do you do an action movie like that? She is sort of the last shred of hope for her land. She has this ethereal, spiritual connection to her people—she really feels things-and so it’s like we don’t really feel empathy.”

Okay, Kristen, that’s profound and all… so what exactly does that mean in terms of audience satisfaction? “Basically, I’m fighting evil—I’m fighting the most evil motherf*ckers-and it’s fine that they’re being killed. It’s anguish. It’s literally f–king anguish. She takes absolutely no pleasure in ever hurting anything. I’m exhausted right now and I was thinking, “The fight stuff is coming up, maybe that won’t be so bad.” And then I realized that they’re probably going to be my most emotional scenes because I’m killing people and I’m Snow White. It’s a really f–king cool way to approach a movie where so many people die.”

So there you have it. SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN will feature the heroine killing the f*ck out of evil. The other one has the deadly mouth of Julia Roberts.

Universal’s movie is due next June 1st and comes from music vid/commercial director Rupert Sanders. The synopsis: “Kristen Stewart plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) who was dispatched to kill her. ” It also stars Sam Claflin as the Prince, and Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, Eddy Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Nick Frost, Lily Cole, Eddie Marsan and Toby Jones as the seven dwarfs.
