A familiar tale gets hardcore in this new trailer for Jack the Giant Killer

This is what Hank McCoy was doing before he joined the X-Men.

No, no it isn’t. Actually it’s a more hardcore version of Jack and the Beanstalk. When you were little, you probably got the Nick Jr. version– the one in which the giant didn’t actually smell the blood of the englishmen then eat them.

In this trailer for JACK THE GIANT KILLER, Nicholas Hoult has to man up and take on the giant. If all goes well, then he might get to make out with a princess. The film was directed by Bryan Singer and the cast includes Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy, Eleanor Tomlinson, and Ewan McGregor.
