Adele’s Skyfall theme song gets an album cover

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

At least until we get an official press release, this looks like the biggest proof yet that Adele will be singing the theme song to SKYFALL.

Bond fansite MI-6 is claiming to have the first look at the album art for the SKYFALL single. The image is small and we cannot really tell if it is a Photoshop or not, but all of the stars seem to be aligning that she is the singer.

Check out the cover:

The site also posted some lyrics to the song, which may be titled “Let the Sky Fall:”

The introductory lines, which follow a piano solo, are: “This is the end/Hold your breath and count to ten/Feel the Earth move and then/Hear my heart burst again.”

Part of the chorus of the song goes: “Let the sky fall/Let it crumble/We will stand tall/And face it all/together.”

Adele is a great vocalist with a retro vibe that fits perfectly with the classic image of Bond. SKYFALL looks to be the closest to the old school Bond since Daniel Craig took over the role from Pierce Brosnan. The movie has a more flamboyant villain, more gadgets, and of course Q.

SKYFALL is slated to open November 9th.
