Universal picks up Threesome for Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez

If you came here looking for Will Ferrell and Adam McKay in a threesome, I must say…you are one bizarre piece of work. Who cares if I suggested it? You’re the one who read the title all wrong, potty mind.

Universal has picked up a pitch from comedic up-and-comer, Leah Rachel. The untitled THREESOME project will be produced by Will Ferrell and his Gary Sanchez cohorts Adam McKay, Kevin Messick and Chris Henchy. There are no real details on this one, since the plot is being kept under wraps. All we know is that the film centers on, “the hijinx that ensue before and after a threesome. It is intended to be a broad comedy with heart and a three-hander.”

There was a movie that came out in 1994 about the same subject matter cleverly titled, THREESOME. It starred Stephen Baldwin, Lara Flynn Boyle and Josh Charles as three college kids who form an interesting relationship. Basically, it’s what would have happened if Banky, Alyssa and Holden would have followed Holden’s plan in CHASING AMY.

I’m kind of interested to see who they get for this threesome comedy, and what the actual plot entails.
