JACK THE GIANT SLAYER is coming.

This much we now know.  Will people come to theatres in response to it and watch the thing? This much we don’t know, and the prognosis is so murky that I can’t for the life of me predict how things will go.

One thing’s for certain – if Jack fails in his quest, at least we can rely on Stanley Tucci‘s strange stinkeye/sassy-wink combo facial maneuver to save the day.  Or at least stun the ladies into confusion.

I know it seems like I’m rambling a bit here, but these posters have honestly left my brain a bit muddled as I’ve never felt so “meh’ about a movie since… well, this one.  It’s a new experience for me, and I haven’t quite figured out what to do yet with my utterly tepid expectations.  Whatever the ultimate case of quality may be, we’ll know soon enough as the movie’s release date of March 1st isn’t all that far away.
