I’ve been noticing that you guys are either 100% into taking the ride that is G.I. JOE: RETALIATION or you had your fill with the first one. I’ll be honest, the first one was beyond corny for me. I just couldn’t take it. It wasn’t one of those thing where you could say, “It’s just a popcorn flick.” No, it wasn’t. Those are supposed to be enjoyable in some capacity. At first I thought I was just being harsh then I took in a second viewing and was filled with immediate regret.

However, I think that G.I. JOE: RETALIATION will wind up being the movie that G.I. JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA wanted to be. So for that assumption alone (and the fact that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is in it) then I will be giving it a fair chance. But, if it let’s me down again, I’m done.

While browsing the internet for fun things to bring you guys, I stumbled across something over at Comicbookmovie.com. They had found some behind the scenes B-roll footage for the film. What’s nice about this is that it feels like you are actually on a set visit almost, except for the fact that you are at home with no pants on eating Doritos and clicking the mouse with your Nacho Cheese/Cool Ranch dust covered fingertips. Just so you know, this footage does have some SPOILERS, but since it’s a G.I. JOE film maybe you won’t care. I have to tell you ahead of time in case you get all mad at me for ruining something for you. I really liked the footage, and hope you will too. Look at Dwayne Johnson‘s glistening head. Prepare to be mesmerized.
