Cool Videos: Comedian Russell Brand causes chaos on MSNBC’s Morning Joe

Some of you may have already seen this but I figured I'd share it anyway since it is pretty hilarious. I watch and follow a lot of British actors and comedians but I'll be the first to admit that Russell Brand can be quite grating. His act often gets a little too over the top, he goes from funny to annoying very quickly at times and after a while you just want him to shut up.

But he is a lot smarter than most people give him credit for and in between the sexual references and jokes he makes during this interview on MSNBC's Morning Joe, Brand makes some very good points about the media and the behavior of the hosts. I wouldn't say they treated him rudely and in their defense Russell Brand does fluster them from the very start of the interview but the hosts clearly don't know what to do except role with the punches and count down the seconds until the next commercial break. It's kind of like watching a robot malfunction or the SNL skit "Wake Up and Smile" with Will Ferrell and David Alan Grier.
