The Secret Service

Variety has learned that the man, the myth, the original "Bad Mother F*cker" Samuel L. Jackson has signed on to play the villain in Matthew Vaughn's adaptation of the Mark Millar series THE SECRET SERVICE. He'll be battling Colin Firth who plays secret agent Uncle Jack, and newcomer Taron Egerton recently agreed to appear in the film as Jack's nephew Gary. It's also been confirmed that Michael Caine will star in the movie as the head of the spy organization.

Filming should start this month so you might think Vaughn is done casting for the movie, but apparently he is still looking for someone for the female lead. Emma Watson and Bella Heathcote (DARK SHADOWS) are the two names rumored, however at this point nothing has been set in stone.

I've been meaning to read the comics (I just might have to go pick them up today) and I have heard they are quite hilarious and violent. Samuel L. Jackson is an excellent addition and since he'll be playing comic book villain I hope he gets a chance to deliver another awesome quote about not wanting egg on his face. NOT A GLOB!

THE SECRET SERVICE hits theaters on November 14th, 2014.
