Last month Martin Scorsese had to make a decision on THE WOLF OF WALL STREET: push the film's release to next year or trim the running time. Scorsese's new movie will be out next month, so how much was cut from the film? Not as much as you'd think, according to the French site Allocine. The site is reporting THE WOLF OF WALL STREET will be 2 hours and 59 minutes long, and it will be the longest Martin Scorsese film to date, beating CASINO by a single minute. The film still probably won't end up being rated NC-17, but I'm perfectly fine with that since an "unrated" version will likely be available when THE WOLF OF WALL STREET hits DVD and Blu-Ray.
If the running time alone isn't enough to get you pumped for Martin Scorsese's film this morning, maybe these ten new images and television spot for THE WOLF OF WALL STREET will. As I said yesterday, it looks like it will be a very fun film (until the shit hits the fan, of course), and is absolutely stacked with terrific actors. THE WOLF OF WALL STREET will definitely be a contender during this year's awards season, and I personally can't wait to see Scorsese's latest.
THE WOLF OF WALL STREET stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, Jon Bernthal, Jon Favreau, Ethan Suplee, Spike Jonze, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner and Shea Whigham, and will hit theaters on December 25th, 2013.
