Award-winning filmmaker Guillaume Blanchet has crafted a clever, fun, and intricately woven stop-motion short entitled A GIRL NAMED ELASTIKA, which might be the coolest thing you see all day. The adventure takes place on a corkboard, but goes to the moon in terms of adventure. If you’re a fan of stop-motion animation or the magic that can happen when creativity meets ingenuity then this will certainly impress. Blanchet had this to say about the project on his Vimeo page:
“She’s young, dreamy and fearless, she drives cars way too fast, she’s also a yamakasi. She likes adventure, fireworks and unrelenting seas. From the day I conceived her, I’ve been a worried father. And a proud one too.”
