Exclusive Interview: Simon Pegg & Rosamund Pike

Being based in Montreal, not exactly a mecca for film junkets, it’s rare that I get to sit down 1:1, or in this case 1:2 with big stars like Simon Pegg and Rosamund Pike. Lucky for me, attending the Toronto International Film Festival has been the exception to this rule, and with HECTOR AND THE SEARCH FOR HAPPINESS being part of the fest, I had the chance to have a quick chat with Pegg and Pike, who couldn’t have been nicer, and were very tolerant of my nervousness.

In HECTOR AND THE SEARCH FOR HAPPINESS, Pegg plays the title role, of a London-based psychiatrist who embarks on a globe-trotting adventure in search of the secret of happiness. Pike plays his patient significant other, and after having already appeared together in THE WORLD’S END, as you can guess their chemistry is strong.
