First look at Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as Shaun and Ed on Phineas and Ferb

Back in August, we heard the news that Simon Pegg and Nick Frost would be stopping by the Disney Channel animated series PHINEAS AND FERB as their SHAUN OF THE DEAD characters. Now, a few weeks in advance of Halloween, we have the first clip of the Brits in their animated form.

You may have never heard of PHINEAS AND FERB but it is actually one of the better kids series airing on television these days. Aside from their feature length movie musical, the show recently aired a STAR WARS themed episode (which Pegg appeared in as C-3PO and an Imperial officer) that rivals the ROBOT CHICKEN and FAMILY GUY homages to the scifi classic. The Halloween episode is titled "Night of the Living Pharmacists" and involves the titular characters dealing with a zombie infestation in their hometown of Danville.

At the very least, this is a fun little shout out for the adults, something PHINEAS AND FERB always does very effectively. They also are rumored to have a LOST-themed episode this season as well. The Halloween special featuring Nick Frost and Simon Pegg airs October 4th at 8pm on Disney Channel.
