I know some of you really liked the first trailer for JURASSIC WORLD, but in my opinion it was a little underwhelming, and like many of you, I definitely wasn't happy to see a CGI gate for the park. But apparently we don't have anything to worry about (involving the gate, anyway), because director Colin Trevorrow has tweeted it will be practical in the film.
@alexfieldsman the gate will be practical. Real wood, concrete and steel.

@TheHoyt08 The gate is practical, the environment isn't. That shot was made specifically for the trailer. The film will be different.

Trevorrow doesn't explain why the practical shot wasn't used in the trailer, but I'm glad to hear the gate will be real in the movie. I'm still interested in checking out JURASSIC WORLD and hope it's great, however I am a little concerned about the film after watching the first trailer.
JURASSIC WORLD starring Chris Pratt and his raptor gang will be released on June 12, 2015.
