We only got a glimpse of the Indominus Rex's (also known as D-Rex) legs in the first JURASSIC WORLD trailer, but some new pieces of promo art have landed online featuring the hybrid dinosaur. While it's not a great picture, it does provide us with the best look yet at the creature. If you want to check out the dino that will be responsible for most of the running and screaming in JURASSIC WORLD, scroll past the Chris Pratt image below.
Nasty looking f*cker, isn't he (or she)? As for details on the dinosaur, it's been previously reported that it was created by splicing together T-Rex, raptor, snake, and cuttlefish DNA, and it has instant camouflage abilities. Although I wasn't happy to learn a genetically modified dino will be in JURASSIC WORLD, I've warmed up to the idea, and I definitely can't wait to see it in action.
A new trailer for the Colin Trevorrow directed movie will debut during the Super Bowl on February 1, so there's a chance we could be getting an even better look at the dinosaur in the very near future. What are your thoughts on the Indominus Rex?
JURASSIC WORLD will be in theaters June 12, 2015.
