The third season of Hannibal finally sets a premiere date

“They’re making a TV series based on Hannibal? That’s going to be stupid."

That’s what I said two years ago, those are the actual words that came out of my mouth. Imagine my surprise when Hannibal not only turned out to be great, but that it wound up being my favourite show on TV. It’s been a long wait for the show's third season but we can finally see the light at the end of that long dark murderous tunnel.

Hannibal will return on June 4th at 10/9c on NBC.

In addition to that great news, creator Bryan Fuller also posted a few posters broadcasting the premiere on Twitter.

The show has been shooting exteriors and certain scenes in Florence, Italy but headed back to its usual stomping grounds of Toronto, Canada to film the remainder of the season. With the addition of Zachary Quinto, Richard Armitage, Joe Anderson, and Rutina Wesley joining the Hannibal team, I have high expectations for this season and really hope it sees a much deserved ratings increase because if any show deserves it…it's this one.

If you’re not watching the show I highly recommend that you give it a chance; it’s easily the most stylish thing on TV and is filled great stories and stunning twists. Just don’t get too attached to the characters. You all watch Game of Thrones, you know how it goes.
