Mad Max: Fury Road and Pitch Perfect 2 hit Blu-ray/DVD in September

Two of the summer's most popular films have finally received a Blu-ray/DVD release date, so strap in for some technical specs! First up is MAD MAX: FURY ROAD which will be available in a Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack. A Blu-ray Combo Pack and 2-disc DVD will also be made available for those who aren't down for donning the glasses. The Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack features the theatrical version of the film in 3D hi-definition, hi-definition and standard definition; the Blu-ray Combo Pack features the theatrical version of the film in hi-definition on Blu-ray (imagine that); and the DVD features the theatrical version in standard definition. The Blu-ray 3D Combo and Blu-ray Combo Pack will also include Digital HD with UltraViolet. If you don't believe in discs, you can also own MAD MAX: FURY ROAD on Digital HD via purchase from digital retailers.

Also available on September 1 will be the “Mad Max 4-Film Blu-ray Anthology" (not pictured, but you can pre-order here). The anthology includes MAD MAX (1979), THE ROAD WARRIOR (1981), MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME (1985) and MAD MAX: FURY ROAD on Blu-ray. The anthology will also includes the documentary “Madness of Max” on DVD along with “Mad Max Anthology” trading cards. Ya know, so you can trade them…

Next up is Elizabeth Banks' directorial debut, PITCH PERFECT 2. The fabulous Bellas of Barden University are back to compete in the World Championships of A Cappella after a scandal threatens their legacy in this high-spirited sequel to the movie that sparked a worldwide phenomenon. The film is coming to Digital HD on September 1st and Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand September 22 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. PITCH PERFECT 2 is packed with more original musical arrangements, memorable one-liners and offbeat romance as the original’s most beloved characters fight to regain their former glory on a worldwide stage facing off against the toughest competition on the planet.
