Fantastic Four concept art shows off Doctor Doom’s castle on Planet Zero

With FANTASTIC FOUR tranking you'd think that we'd stop talking about it and move on to some more worthy film discussion, but no, like a moth to a flame, we just can't step away from the disaster that was Josh Trank's FANTASTIC FOUR. Concept artist Steve Jung (TRON: LEGACY, THE AVENGERS) was involved with the film in its early days and he recently posted some FANTASTIC FOUR concept art on his Facebook page which shows off the kick-ass castle that Doctor Doom (Toby Kebbell) almost had.

Check out the concept art below!

Steve Jung said that he "was on this one early on before all the drama happened…none of my work made it to the movie (kinda glad) since it got changed many times after I left the project. Exploration of the Planet Zero and Victor's castle ideations. Btw the texture of the terrain is cigarette buds from a picture of the director's ashtray." He also added that Victor's castle "is made out of particles so in some places you can see through and Victor is holding everything together in his mind." Would the inclusion of Doctor Doom's Planet Zero pad have improved the film at all? Probably not, but it's always fun pondering what could have been.

FANTASTIC FOUR was released in theaters on August 7, 2015 and…you all know what happened next.
