After almost a week of ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS trailer teases, Disney has finally released a full trailer for the upcoming film, and it looks….ok, I guess. The first movie from Tim Burton did almost nothing for me, however I am a little curious to see what THE MUPPETS director James Bobin has done with the sequel. Although I doubt the follow-up will be be leaps and bounds better than Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND, maybe it won't be as bad as I'm expecting it to be.
"Young lady, your time is up."
ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS will follow Mia Wasikowska's Alice as she travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) after discovering he's turned even madder. The ensemble cast for the film also includes Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Matt Lucas, Michael Sheen, Alan Rickman and Stephen Fry (reprising their ALICE IN WONDERLAND roles, respectively, as the Red Queen, the White Queen, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the White Rabbit, the Caterpillar and the Cheshire Cast), as well as Sacha Baron Cohen as Time, Rhys Ifans as Zanik Hightopp, the Mad Hatter's father, Toby Jones as Wilkins and Andrew Scott as Addison Bennet.
ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS is due in theaters on May 27, 2016.
