The Flash is without a director as Seth Grahame-Smith leaves the project

The Flash Seth Grahame-Smith

It seems as though there's trouble brewing in Central City as Warner Bro's upcoming film THE FLASH will have to begin looking for a new director. Seth Grahame-Smith was to have made his feature directorial debut on THE FLASH but THR is reporting that Grahame-Smith has left the project due to, say it with me now, "creative differences." Sigh.

Seth Grahame-Smith's influence won't be entirely absent from THE FLASH however, as Warner Bros. will still be using Grahame-Smith's script which he wrote working off a treatment from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (THE LEGO MOVIE). As THE FLASH's release date is still a ways off, there's plenty of time for Warner Bros. to locate a replacement. THE FLASH will star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, who made a cameo appearance in the recent BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE and is in the midst of shooting JUSTICE LEAGUE – PART ONE with Zack Snyder. THE FLASH is set for a March 3, 2018 release. This isn't the first time that a DCEU film has experienced some "creative differences," as Michelle MacLaren bowed out of WONDER WOMAN for the same reason.

Who would you like to see direct THE FLASH?
