Filming wraps on Alien: Covenant

The crew of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think is an uncharted paradise, but it is actually a dark, dangerous world, whose sole inhabitant is the synthetic David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. The sequel to PROMETHEUS looks to inject more horror than its predecessor and according to the following Tweet, filming has wrapped!

Filming has wrapped. The next phase begins.

Now that filming has wrapped up on Ridley Scott's flick, I'm hoping we'll hear something concrete on Neill Blomkamp's proposed sequel to ALIENS. I think there's plenty of room for two ALIEN flicks in our future, and what better time to announce such glorious fan-service than at SDCC? A fanboy can dream, can't he?!?

ALIEN: COVENANT will open in theaters on August 4, 2017.
