These days who has the time for, well, anything really? Between our careers, families, friends, and secret second families, there's not a lot of time to invest in the things that really matter, such as crafting a list of your one thousand favourite films. Filmmakers are typically busier than most, which really makes you wonder where Edgar Wright found the time to put together this list of his one thousand favourite films.
Presented in chronological order from 1920’s THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI all the way to 2016's THE NEON DEMON, Wright's list also includes movies like EYES WITHOUT A FACE, THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN, POINT BLANK, WATERSHIP DOWN, THE NAKED GUN, STARSHIP TROOPERS, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, and many many others. Most of us have thrown together a few lists of our favourite films in our time, but its always fun to get a peek (a large one in this case) at the types of movies that the director's we admire enjoy. If you're brave enough to check out the entire list, you can do so right here. Many directors such as Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, and Stanley Kubrick have made lists of their favourite movies over the years, but rarely do those lists grow to a whopping one thousand entries.
So. Here's a list on @mubi of my 1000 favourite films. Enjoy.https://t.co/6hCHK9fqmo (Huge thanks to @Thebanjohype for helping with this)

Edgar Wright's next, BABY DRIVER, follows "a talented, young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) who relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Jamie Foxx), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom" and is due out on March 17, 2017.
Any movies you're surprised to find on Wright's list? Any surprising omissions?
