The one thing DC has over Marvel is a lack of subtlety. Unlike the latter, who hide their movies under a veil of secrecy until the very last moment, DC goes balls-out the second the zipper is down. Take a look at Comic-Con for instance. They unveiled a full trailer for JUSTICE LEAGUE a good year and a half before it comes out, and a WONDER WOMAN one early enough for someone to have a baby before being able to buy tickets.
Now, so soon after the WONDER WOMAN trailer dropped, a TV spot for the flick has surfaced, and although it’s much of the same footage as the Comic-Con trailer, we do get to see some Chris Pine reigning Hell on enemies via the airplane they used to take down King Kong.

I’m all for “new” footage, but this footage isn’t exactly “new”, is it? And a TV spot? Really? Is Warner Bros. gonna air this footage alongside new episodes of MODERN FAMILY for eight months? It seems like a rush by the studio to get stuff on the web so as to build anticipation for the movie, and possibly so fans won’t forget it exists. But trust me, Warner Bros., we won’t forget this movie. Did you see that first trailer? That’s good enough to hold us over for some time. So how about you leave it alone a bit, let the mystery resettle in, and don’t over-expose your flick like it’s Macklemore, okay?
