Aside from some concept art we have seen very little of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. There was said to be footage shown at Comic-Con this year, but those of us who weren’t lucky enough to go won’t get the privilege of seeing it for some time, because clearly we are lesser beings. Next we are going to be told by Marvel we can only eat table scraps and will allowed just 10 minutes of sunlight a day. Life is not good at the moment.
That being said, the new image released on Marvel’s Instagram page certainly helps a bit. It’s a simple one, mind you, but it gives us our most…dramatic image of Yondu (Michael Rooker) yet. Take a gander!
Like I said…simple. The black and white lends a more distinguished aura to the Ravager, and looks much more like he does in the comics (pictured below) even if the item on his head makes him look a bit like a dinosaur. But that’s just me. Hopefully this is the first of many more images to come…but I doubt it…because Marvel likes to torture us.
