Henry Cavill is teasing his next appearance in the Superman suit already

It sure would have been nice for Superman to stay dead for awhile, don't you think? 

We would have gotten some unexpected drama injected into the DC Extended Universe with the unexpected demise of the Man of Steel at the end of BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE followed by the uncertainty as to when and where he might return in the future (even though the announcement of JUSTICE LEAGUE seems to give us a clear point for his resurrection).

But no… That was not to be. Instead Zack Snyder already had to let us know everything is probably going to be okay with his parting shot of BVS and now Henry Cavill is taking to Instagram to inform those who may not have picked up on the obvious that Superman will be back sooner rather than later. 

There has been a lot of instant speculation about the nature of the Superman suit revealed in Cavill's picture, with many believing this could be a hint at the black suit worn in the "Return of Superman" comic arc (another detail that would have been nice to keep hidden away for the time being). Then again, could it be that Cavill is just messing around with his black and white filters in order to give the impression that this is that suit only for it to be something else later? We'll find out eventually – probably on November 17, 2017 when JUSTICE LEAGUE sees the light of day in full.
