The subway is an awkward place to meet in first Ocean’s 8 cast photo

Move over boys. It's the ladies turn to steal some shit!

But first they have to learn to work together, and from the look of it they aren't going to make much progress on that on this subway ride. The first official photo with the entire gang has dropped and things are looking pretty awkward. But when are things not awkward on the subway

Take a look, but don't hurt your precious little eyes from squinting. On the left side (front to back) are Sandra Bullock plays Debbie Ocean, Cate Blanchett (Lou), Rihanna (Nine Ball) and Mindy Kaling (Amita), and on the right (back to front) are Awkwafina (Constance,  Helena-Bonham Carter (Rose),  Anne Hathaway (Daphne Kluger), Sarah Paulson (Tammy).

This is the first time we’ve seen the whole cast in one photo before, and the idea this movie is going to be about the team having to come together as opposed to getting along like one big bro-ensemble is pretty evident. We don’t know a whole lot beyond the story about the gang trying to rob the Met Gala, but it has been said the movie will act as a continuation of the series and not as a remake, and that Matt Damon’s Linus Caldwell will be making a cameo appearance.  Do I smell an Avengers-style team up of thieves?

I’m interested to see how this movie plays out, mostly to see if the cast can make it as enjoyable as the cast of the other OCEAN’S movies. Steven Soderbergh gave those movies a distinct look and the cast worked so well with each other.
