Matt Reeves will indeed be directing The Batman after all!

So it's been officially announced by Warner Bros. No more rumors, no more bullshit. As of right now, Matt Reeves is going to be our next Batman director! Yay!

Here's what Reeves himself had to say about the development:

I have loved the Batman story since I was a child. He is such an iconic and compelling character, and one that resonates with me deeply. I am incredibly honored and excited to be working with Warner Bros. to bring an epic and emotional new take on the Caped Crusader to the big screen.

No official release date as of yet, though it's speculated that it would come out summer of 2018. However, after all this shit, it wouldn't be surprising if it was pushed back. We'll obviously keep you posted, same Bat-Time, same Bat-site!
