We've known that Jason Momoa would be playing Aquaman in the DCEU for quite some time, but beyond a brief cameo in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, in which Momoa was obviously holding his breath, we haven't really seen much of Aquaman in his natural element. Thanks to JUSTICE LEAGUE director Zack Snyder sharing this work-in-progress footage of Jason Momoa's Aquaman on Vero, we've finally got a glimpse of Aquaman effortlessly gliding underwater. Check it out!

Aquaman's standalone movie will be helmed by James Wan (THE CONJURING) and production on the film will be kicking off in a few months. Jason Momoa will star as the title character, and he'll be joined by Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.
JUSTICE LEAGUE will hit theaters on November 17, 2017, with AQUAMAN following on October 5, 2018.
