Daniel Craig shares his heist wisdom in extended Logan Lucky clip

As exciting as it is to see Steven Soderbergh return to the realm of feature-films after his brief retirement, I think what I'm looking forward to the most about the upcoming LOGAN LUCKY is getting to see Daniel Craig cut loose as the aptly named explosives expert Joe Bang. We don't typically get to see Craig in this type of role, and the actor seems to be having an absolute blast with it. LOGAN LUCKY centers around two brothers, played by Channing Tatum and Adam Driver, who set out to rob the Charlotte Motor Speedway just before the biggest race of the year, the Coca-Cola 600. In order to pull it off, they'll need the help of Joe Bang, and a new extended clip from the film finds the incarcerated explosives expert laying down some heist wisdom on the brothers.

The official synopsis for LOGAN LUCKY:

The Logan’s are a blue-collar family from the hills of West Virginia, and their clan has been famous for its bad luck for nearly 90 years. But the conniving Jimmy Logan (Channing Tatum) decides it’s time to turn the family’s luck around, and with a little help from his friends, the Redneck Robbers, he plans to steal $14 million from the Charlotte Motor Speedway on the busiest race day of the year. A heist movie with a difference: Steven Soderbergh, the director of the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy and an A-list cast including Channing Tatum, Daniel Craig and Adam Driver deliver a smart, thrilling and funny blue-collar story of an audacious multi-million dollar robbery.

LOGAN LUCKY is set for an August 18, 2017 release.
