New Blade Runner character posters assemble the cast

We are only three weeks away from the highly-anticipated BLADE RUNNER 2049, which will hopefully honor the legacy of the original while expanding on the world and answering so many burning questions. There’s a big A-list ensemble fleshing out the flick, including Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Jared Leto, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, Ana de Armas and Sylvia Hoeks. Some prequel shorts have revealed more about Leto and Bautista’s characters, and we will know more about the rest as we near the movie’s release. For now, we can bask in some new international character posters Warner Bros. has put out, with all the aforementioned characters represented.

Take a look at the characters below, and know they clearly all like getting caught in the rain:

The main poster for the film is vibrant and stylish, and these are meant to litter a wall in a movie theater and little else. They won’t make you look twice or marvel at any special design work, but they’re character posters, and they live up to their name – I suppose. They don’t complement the striking visual style of the movie itself, but thankfully the trailers and prequel shorts do a good job of that, teasing a gorgeously bleak film filled with intrigue and action. Who needs posters when you have footage like that?

BLADE RUNNER 2049 arrives October 6.
