Early this afternoon, Steve Martin took to his personal Twitter account to reveal that he and fellow comedian Martin Short are have plans to present a new comedy special on Netflix later this year. Entitled STEVE MARTIN AND MARTIN SHORT: AN EVENING YOU WILL FORGET FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, the upcoming show was taped at the Peace Center in Greenville, South Carolina during Short and Martin’s current national tour.
As a part of the celebration, new material from both comedic actors will be showcased by way of a variety of musical sketches and conversations about their iconic careers, most memorable encounters, and of course, their legendary lives in show-business and stand-up. The special was directed by Marcus Raboy and will feature music from Grammy Award-winning bluegrass band The Steep Canyon Rangers and renowned jazz pianist and Jimmy Kimmel Live band member, Jeff Babko.
