Alan Tudyk to join the madness of DC’s Doom Patrol as Mr. Nobody

Someone absurdly sinister is coming to DC Universe's DOOM PATROL, as FIREFLY, ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, and BIG HERO 6 alum Alan Tudyk has recently joined the cast as the show's villain, Eric Morden/Mr. Nobody. When the live-action comic book fantasy series from Greg Berlanti and Warner Bros TV arrives, Tudyk will be joined by Brendan Fraser (Robotman), April Bowlby (Elasti-Woman), Diane Guerrero (Crazy Jane), and Jovian Wade (Cyborg) for what's hoped to be an outlandish comic book adventure that brings the weird to DC's upcoming streaming platform.

In looking back at the creation of DOOM PATROL, you'll discover that the oddball group made their debut in the pages of My Greatest Adventure in 1963. The team was crafted by writers Arnold Drake and Bob Haney, with artist Bruno Premiani, who each played a pivotal role in giving depth, imagination, and delightfully twisted backstories to the classic cult characters.

Often described as a "one-man crime wave," Tudyk's Eric Morden was a master criminal, that is until a Nazi scientist exposed him to a device called the White Room. While trapped amidst the maddening effects of the device, Morden went irrevocably insane as his body de-materialized into a mass of living virtuality that could siphon the sanity from other human beings. As Mr. Nobody, Morden exists as a shadow that feeds on the fears and life energy of those around him. Obviously, it's going to take everything the Doom Patrol has got to bring him down.

DOOM PATROL's 13-episode debut season will premiere exclusively on DC Universe.
