Bullseye puts a mark on Daredevil In New York Comic Con Teaser

Fresh out of Hell’s kitchen is the new teaser trailer for Marvel’s DAREDEVIL featuring the one and only Matt Murdock – well, he may not be the one and only anymore. In the trailer that premiered today at New York Comic Con, it appears that season three begins with a strange predicament. Hired by sinner turned supposed saint Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), there’s another man out there masquerading as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. Based on the footage shown today, it is now clear that the someone in question is none other than Bullseye.

Based on the Marvel Comics and brought to the screen through the eyes of series creator Drew Goddard (BAD TIMES AT THE EL ROYALE), Daredevil’s third season on Netflix will detail the origin story of the iconic villain Bullseye. Agent Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter (Wilson Bethel) is a talented but troubled young man who descends into villainy after his place of work turns against him. Taking advantage of his vulnerable state is Daredevil’s arch nemesis Wilson Fisk, who hires the only man in town who could possibly put Matt Murdock in the ground.

This doesn’t look too promising for our hero. Murdock may have gone fist to fist with the likes of The Punisher and Ben Urich in the past, but now he may be facing his greatest threat yet. Bullseye takes on the persona of Daredevil and attacks innocent members of the public, putting both Murdoch’s friends and his reputation at risk, striking panic into the heart of the man who once knew no fear.

DAREDEVIL season three hits Netflix on October 19th.
