The cast for M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming psychological thriller series for Apple is quickly coming together, and it has now been announced that Toby Kebbell (DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES) will be starring as the male lead opposite Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under).

We still don't know all that much of the plot for the as-yet-untitled series, but it's been said that it will follow parents Dorothy and Sean Turner, who have hired a young nanny by the name of Leanna to help care for their newborn child. Toby Kebbell will play Sean, with Lauren Ambrose playing Dorothy, Rupert Grint (HARRY POTTER) playing Julian Pearce, Dorothy's younger brother, and Nell Tiger (Game of Thrones) playing Leanna. Tony Basgallop (To the Ends of the Earth) created the psychological thriller, which Amazon has already given a straight-to-series order, and will also write and executive produce the series. M. Night Shyamalan will also serve as an executive producer as well as direct the first episode, similar to his role on Fox's Wayward Pines.

Our next theatrical encounter withToby Kebbell will arrive quite soon as the actor stars alongside Nicole Kidman in Karyn Kusama's DESTROYER on December 25th. The film finds Kidman starring as an LAPD detective who must reckon with old demons when an enemy from her past reemerges. Our own Chris Bumbray caught the film at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this year and gave it a rave review. As for M. Night Shyamalan, he will soon be unleashing a sequel to SPLIT and UNBREAKABLE in the form of GLASS, which will see the return of Bruce Willis as David Dunn, Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke. GLASS will hit theaters on January 18, 2019.
