We just got A Quiet Place Part II last week and Spiral: From the Book of Saw three weeks ago, and now it's already time for another high profile horror release! Today The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (read our review HERE) has reached theatres, and it's also streaming on HBO Max through July 4th.

So now we'd like to hear your thoughts on this new entry in the Conjuring franchise. This one had a big change behind the scenes, as The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 director James Wan decided to hand the directing duties over to The Curse of La Llorona director Michael Chaves. Scripted by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who crafted the story with Wan, this sequel drops stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga into 

a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense. 

Ruairi O'Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Julian Hilliard are in the cast as well.

Wan produced the film with Peter Safran. Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Michael Clear, Judson Scott, and Michelle Morrissey served as executive producers.
