Daniel Craig gets behind the wheel of an Aston Martin V8 in Bond set video

James Bond has become synonymous with fine suits, martinis, womanizing, cool gadgets and all manner of suaveness. Of all his toys and accessories, there is perhaps none cooler than the Aston Martin, the slick automobile the character has driven over the years and over several models. He’s back behind the wheel of one in the upcoming BOND 25, and a new set video from the production shows Daniel Craig’s Bond rolling up in the Aston Martin V8.

In yet another edition of behind the scenes videos like the one we got last week, this one shows the crew filming Craig driving the V8, which has a bit more power behind it than the classier one we’ve seen him drive around in the past. This model was first introduced to the series in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS with Timothy Dalton as Bond, and the car proves to be a timeless piece of awesome machinery 30 years later.

A photo was posted not too long after the video, showing Bond walking away from his car as cooly as one should be walking after pulling up in a car like that. I don’t even think he locked it or paid for parking.

Last week's set video showed off a bunch of footage of the shoot in Jamaica, and now they've started work in London. We can expect plenty more of these videos across the shoot as we head toward the April 2020 release, and the first teaser will likely drop within the next few months, at this rate. While that seems obvious now this movie went through some big production hurdles to get going, one as recently as last month with Craig's injury, so the fact the movie is actually happening and coming so soon seems like a bit of a miracle. 

BOND 25 from director Cary Fukunaga and starring Craig, Lea Seydoux, Rami Malek, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Lashana Lynch and more is in theaters April 8, 2020.
