Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston unveil liquor brand after social media teases

Not too long ago BREAKING BAD actors Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston got the entertainment and fan community buzzing after they sent out a few sneaky social media posts, people believing they were teases for news regarding the upcoming BAD movie. Turns out they were just having a bit a fun with the ol’ internet, and while it’s understandable to think an image of two mules would hint at “drug mules,” the duo were actually getting ready to unveil their new brand of liquor, appropriately called “Dos Hombres.”

Cranston posted pictures on Instagram (via IndieWire) of the two partaking in their new brand of Mezcal, which the actor wrote they talked about starting several years ago. “Three years ago we sat in a sushi bar in New York. Talking about life and what we could possibly do down the road together. We had the time of our lives while shooting Breaking Bad and truly built a very special bond,” he wrote. “Knowing that we couldn’t share the screen for quite a while – our thoughts turned to a new project. We sipped cocktails and thought about what it should be. The younger one looked at his drink and said, you know what we should do? We should do a really special Mezcal.”

He continued, talking about how the duo traveled to Oaxaca to hunt down their fine drink, and are now ready to unveil it to the world…which meant having a little fun in the process. The buzz online started when both Cranston and Paul posted a picture of two mules with the caption “soon”, and then followed up later with more pictures, like one of the two looking around suspiciously with the caption “even sooner.” Some time has passed since the announcement of the BREAKING BAD movie, but nothing else has come about nor anything confirmed, with most reports saying it will focus on Paul’s character, Jesse Pinkman, years after he drove off and never looked back in the series finale.

Lord knows what's going on with the BREAKING BAD movie, with series creator and mind behind the movie, Vince Gilligan, keeping details on lockdown. Given how the original show ended a reunion isn't exactly likely, so with that in mind, this is about as sweet a reunion project the two could reveal as any, and they sure did a fine job doing it. Nobody knows anything about the planned movie and naturally, their early posts got people interested. No matter what it's awesome the two are still collaborating after their time on BAD, and now that we're back to square one on the news behind the movie I may need some of that booze to hold me over.
