The Jason Statham/Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson spinoff has pounded its way to $157 million domestic over five weekends (coasting past the $$155 million finish of 2009's FAST AND FURIOUS), and has driven to a worldwide total of $684 million on a reported $200 million cost.

The "extended cut" release (around four extra minutes) of the $160 million Sony-distributed sequel helped carry Marvel's wall-crawler to a domestic total of $384.7 million and $1.12 billion worldwide, placing it just short of fellow superhero CAPTAIN MARVEL's global tally.
