It’s Always Sunny season 14 trailer teases laser tag, melons & gorillas

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Anyone who’s followed the series IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA over the years is probably equal parts shocked and thrilled it's about to kick off its 14th season this year. That makes it tied with the show OZZIE AND HARRIET to be the longest-running live-action comedy series in American TV history. That’s not too bad for a show that features plenty of content about hams soaked in rum, and now you can get a taste of all the deplorable shenanigans The Gang gets into with the new trailer for the upcoming season.

You never know what to expect out of an episode of IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY, other than that characters Charlie, Dee, Mac, Dennis and Frank always manage to take what could be a perfectly pleasant scenario and twist it through seriously dark and hilarious turns. Such will be the case here with what looks like episodes featuring a day at laser tag, the discovery a mysterious melon Frank (Danny DeVito) has been hiding, a day at the zoo (featuring meerkats and gorillas) and more. I can only express sorrow for the children who have to feel The Gang's wrath during a game of laser tag.

Here's a brief synopsis for season 14:

In the 14th Season of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, the Gang goes to extremes. Mac learns a new language, Charlie does a period piece, Dennis attempts a one-act play, Dee cuts her hair, and Frank performs a death scene. The show is produced by FX Productions.

IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA returns on September 25 on FXX.
