Spider-Man: Far From Home, J. Jonah Jamison, J.K. Simmons

As reports of fake news continue to taint the collective unconscious of the general public, it should come as no surprise that J.K. Simmons' J. Jonah Jameson of Sony's Spider-Man universe has become something of an Alex Jones-like figure on the big screen. By all accounts, Jameson is paranoid, narrow-minded and fearful of things that are beyond his comprehension. He's also downright hilarious when given the proper platform to spout his raucous rants about the red-suited reprobate known as Spider-Man, and now Sony has launched TheDailyBugle.Net, a blog spot that plays host to Jameson's tenacious tirades and lurid lunacy.

You can watch Simmons' J. Jonah Jameson preach his Spider-Man hate to the masses below, and be sure to visit TheDailyBugle.Net for more tongue-in-cheek taks on New York City's "Masked Menace."

“The war on fake news has a hero: J. JONAH JAMESON and THEDAILYBUGLE.NET! Where the tides of real news crash the shore of dangerous truth, the Daily Bugle will be there! Read the stories that the super-powers-that-be don’t want you to know! Stay informed! Be a real hero! Listen… to the BUGLE!

Join Jameson in the fight for truth against the real enemy of New York, Spider-Man! Together we can continue to spread Mysterio’s message of bringing peace and order to our great city,” boasts THEDAILYBUGLE.NET.

The arrival of TheDailyBugle.net is of course Sony's clever way of announcing that SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME is available to own today via Digital platforms. For those of you who prefer physical releases, the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD versions of the superhero spectacle are due to web-swing onto shelves starting on October 1st.
