Paul Bettany says WandaVision will be “f*cking bonkers”

Now that Mavel's WANDAVISION is in post-production, fans can expect for more details about the upcoming Disney+ series to arrive sooner rather than later. Personally, I can't wait to find out what's in store for the MCU's power couple when the show arrives, especially now that Paul Bettany, who plays Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has stated for the record that "it's fucking bonkers," with regard to the series' action-oriented and otherworldly content.

"It’s fucking bonkers," Bettany told filmmaker Kevin Smith, during a recent interview spot for IMDB. "It’s so out there and nuts, the choices they are making. Fans will not have to wait that much longer, well they’ve moved it up a little bit, but also they’ll get much more of an insight (looking at watch) very, very soon."

While Bettany was careful not to be too specific about what's coming "very soon," it's possible that a trailer or First Look featurette for WANDAVISION will be superhero-landing online in the near future.

While WANDAVISION is guaranteed to deliver more action featuring Scarlet Witch / Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), rumors have been circulating that a host of new characters are also poised to be introduced by way of the MCU series, including Nightmare, Hulking and an adult version of Monica Rambeau. WANDAVISION was created for Marvel and Disney+ by Jac Schaeffer, with Mark Shankman in line to helm the first episode. Meanwhile, other actors and characters set to appear in the show are Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Katharyn Hahn in a role that has yet to be revealed.

WANDAVISION, a six-episode Marvel series, will premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2020.
