It was announced last month that Billie Eilish, the artist best known for songs such as Bad Guy, When the Party's Over, and Bury a Friend, would be performing the theme song for NO TIME TO DIE, the twenty-fifth film in the James Bond franchise as well as Daniel Craig's fifth and final outing in the role. Eilish, who co-wrote the song with her brother Finneas, tweeted a brief tease of the track yesterday, and promised that the full song would be released at 4pm PT today; Well, here we are, and you can check out Billie Eilish's "No Time To Die" below!
Over the course of Daniel Craig's tenure as Bond, we've seen a variety of different themes, including Chris Cornell's "You Know My Name" for CASINO ROYALE, Jack White and Alica Keys' "Another Way to Die" for QUANTUM OF SOLACE, Adele's "Skyfall" for SKYFALL, and Sam Smith's "Writing's on the Wall" for SPECTRE. What are your thoughts on Billie Eilish's "No Time To Die"?
NO TIME TO DIE will continue on where SPECTRE left off, with James Bond having left active service to begin a new life with Dr. Swann (Léa Seydoux), but Bond is soon brought back into action when Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) comes calling to enlist his help in searching for a missing scientist. When it becomes apparent that the scientist was abducted, Bond must confront a danger the likes of which the world has never seen before in a villain armed with dangerous new technology.
NO TIME TO DIE will hit theaters in the United Kingdom on April 2, 2020 and on April 8, 2020 in the United States.
