Chris Pratt compares Jurassic World 3 to Avengers: Endgame

Chris Pratt is on the go doing promotional rounds for Pixar's upcoming relase, ONWARD, but that didn't stop the actor from talking about JURASSIC WORLD 3 which is likely set to wrap up the latest JURASSIC trilogy.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Pratt could say much about JURASSIC WORLD 3 but he might've still said too much by comparing the film to another big franchise movie he appeared in, AVENGERS: ENDGAME.

"I'm not allowed to say anything… It's got everybody. It's got pretty much everybody in it. Maybe I just blew it, but I don't care. All the cast from the original Jurassic Park is coming back. It's going to feel very much like how Endgame brought everything together for Marvel."

In case you're the only one that hasn't seen AVENGERS: ENDGAME, that film was a culmination of all the MCU films that came before it so the cast was stacked with just about everyone who has made an appearance in a Marvel film on the road to ENDGAME. The comparison seems fitting for JURASSIC WORLD 3 because along with the return of Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson and Omar Sy from the JURASSIC WORLD franchise, original JURASSIC PARK cast members, Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum are also returning to bring it all together. Jeff Goldblum made an appearance in the last film, JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM, while Neill and Dern last appeared in JURASSIC PARK III.

Pratt also revealed that he's days away from the start fo shooting and he's excited to tackle the project due to a strong script by Colin Trevorrow although the shoot is going to be very lengthy.

"I leave tomorrow and I'll be shooting for a long time. The script is unbelievable. Colin Trevorrow, who wrote and directed Jurassic World is coming back to do this one. I can't wait… I will shoot on and off until July. It's a big one. It's about close to 100 shoot days. It's a massive movie. It's a big movie. We'll be all over the world. The story is really, really engaging. Really cool. It's gonna be big."

Other than some of the casting, not a lot is known about JURASSIC WORLD 3. What we do know is that it will pick up after the events of FALLEN KINGDOM, with dinosaurs now living alongside humans in the real world. This was glimpsed in last year's BATTLE AT BIG ROCK short, which Colin Trevorrow also directed.
